Vivimed Labs share price has rallied 12% to Rs 115 on the NSE in intra-day on Wednesday, extending its Tuesday’s 20% hike, after investor Ashish Kacholia acquired nearly two percentage point stake in the pharmaceuticals company through open market.
Yesterday, on September 27, Ashish Kacholia bought 1.37 million equity shares representing 1.7% of total equity of Vivimed Labs at an average price of Rs 90.50 per share. Apart from that, RBA Finance & Investment also purchased 2.2 million shares comprising 2.74% stake in the company at the average price of Rs 90.5 per share. Vivimed labs share price traded at a new 52-week high in intra-day trade, surging 60% from its recent low of Rs 72 touched on September 8.
Nylim Jacob Ballas India Fund III LLC had sold a part of its holding through the open market. It off-loaded 4.88 million shares representing 6% of total equity of Vivimed Labs at an average price of Rs 93.65 per share. The name of the other buyers is not yet known.
As per shareholding pattern data as of June 30, 2016, Nylim Jacob Ballas India Fund III LLC held 10.63 million comprising 13.13% stake in the company. Indian Promoters and promoter Groups hold 36.79% stakes in the company 63.21% shares are owned by the public. Institutions hold 2.50% shares while non-institution hold 60.59% stakes. The company has only one Mutual Fund holding constituting 0.20% stakes. Foreign Portfolio Investors own 2.15% shares while Foreign Institutional Investors own 0.08% stakes. Among Non-institution public holdings, Nisha Jignesh Mehta owns 1.67% stakes while Jignesh Jaswantrai Mehta holds 1.27% shares. Also, Ravisha Financial Services Private Limited hold 1.72% stakes in the company.
Currently, Vivimed labs share price is trading at Rs. 112.30 with a rise of 9.24% and had traded on the new high of Rs. 115. The stock has opened at the price of Rs. 106.80 and slipped just 80 paise for making the intraday low of Rs. 106.
