Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited, is an oil refinery at Mangalore and is an ancillary of ONGC, set up in 1988. The refinery is situated at Katipalla, north from centre of Mangalore city. MRPL has a design capacity to process 15 million metric tons annually and have 2 Hydrocrackers producing Premium Diesel (High Cetane). It also has 2 CCRs producing Unleaded Petrol of High Octane.
