Butterfly Share Price glides 15% Intraday Friday


ButterflyPrimarly known as ‘Gandhimathi Appliances Limited’ is the flagship company of the Butterfly group and was originally incorporated as Private Limited Company on 24th February 1986. Butterfly was converted into a Public Limited Company on 25th April 1990.  Following to merger of its associate, Gangadharam Appliances Limited, the name of the Company was renamed to ‘Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances Limited’ (BGMAL), with effect from 25th October 2011. The company manufactures variety of home appliances, kitchen products and cookware. The company's products include LPG Stoves, Mixer Grinder and various types of Burner.
Today, Butterfly share price opened at Rs. 194.25, higher than its previous close of Rs. 189.85. Later in the day, the stock surged 15 per cent to trade at the so far intraday high of Rs. 218.45. Rs. 190 was the lowest price for the day thus far.
The stock met its 52 week high at Rs. 307.70 on 6th Jan ’16 while the 52 week low of the stock reads at Rs. 136.15 on 24th August ’15. While, the lifetime high of the stock is Rs. 255.80 on 6th January 2016 and the lifetime low is at Rs. 131.10 on 3rd June 2015.
At 1:19 PM, Butterfly share price was trading at Rs. 211.25 with the rise of 11.27 per cent. So far, 33 thousand shares have changed hands over the NSE trading counter.
The Average Daily Movement of the stock is 13.45 and its average volume for last 20 days is 28789. The market cap of the company amounts to Rs. 339.44 crores as on 25th November 2016 and has a book value of Rs. 131.19.The EPS of the company is seen at 6.93.
