LT Food Share Price Gained Over 5% At NSE Today


LT FoodsLT foods, what started as a small company in the village of Amritsar is now the house of many well known brands like Daawat, Royal, Ecolife, Devaaya and Heritage.  A decade ago, their brands only contributed 20 per cent of their total revenue but today, they contribute over 70 per cent. They offer a series of speciality rice, every day grocery products, Special products for hotels and catering and they also offer healthy and organic products.
The company has strong financials and fundamentals on which LT foods share price has gained over 5 per cent in the trade today.
The company’s EBITDA has grown at the CGAR of 20 per cent since FY11 where it stood at Rs. 119 crores to Rs. 363 crores in FY16. Their net sales have also gone up at the same pace from Rs. 1281 crores in FY11 to Rs. 2780 crores in FY15 and Rs. 2979 crores in FY16. The company has not incurred any losses in past four quarters and past four financial years as well. Looking at the Return on Capital Employed (ROCE) of the company, it has also ascended from 6.8 per cent in FY11 to 12.18 per cent in FY16. In the financial year 16, the company’s EBITDA margin stood at 12.2 per cent while it had given the consolidated EPS of Rs. 27.23 crores in the same financial year. The company has 13.96 per cent promoters holding pledged and the market cap of Rs. 743.77 crores as on 29th December 2016. It has the PE ratio of 9.76.
At 1:49 PM, LT foods share price was trading at Rs. 288.40, up by 3.39 per cent with over 66 thousand shares being traded. It had opened at Rs. 283.30 as compared to its previous close of Rs. 278.98.
