Voltamp Share Price Surges on Reopening of Shutdown Plant


VoltampVoltamp Transformers announced that they have resumed the work at the shut down plant. However, the shut down may affect the December earnings of the firm. Voltamp Transformers, manufacturer of electrical transformers has resumed production activity at the Salvi factory. The shut down at the Salvi factory, Vadodara, Gujarat was intimated at 22nd December, 2016.
Voltamp Transformers delivered 4.68 per cent in 1 year period, over 3 years the stock delivered 29.44 per cent on annualized basis and over a 5 year period the stock delivered 14.25 per cent on annualized basis.

Stock view:
Voltamp share price surged above 7 per cent in the morning trade on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) today. The scrip opened at Rs 936.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs 994.70 and Rs 933.95, respectively. So far over forty two thousand shares were traded on the NSE counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 939.93 cr.
