Dena Bank has posted a net loss of Rs 279.35 crore for the quarter as compared to the net profit of Rs 15.16 crore for the corresponding quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank slipped by 0.26% to Rs 2907.35 crore for the June quarter as against Rs 2914.87 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The bank’s gross NPA for the June quarter of the current financial year increased by 11.88%, in comparison to 6.20% in the same quarter of FY16. The bank’s Net NPA stood at 7.65% in Q1FY17.
Dena Bank share price closed at Rs. 36.90 with the rise of almost 2%.
The scrip opened at Rs. 36.25 and touched the intraday high and low of Rs. 38.35 and Rs. 36.00 respectively. On the previous day, the scrip closed at Rs. 36.20. A total of 34,92,533 shares were traded on the counter.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 62.89%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 22.09% and 15.02% respectively.
