Aptech share price hit a new 52-week high of Rs.98 today on NSE today. The stock was trading 7% higher. The scrip opened at Rs.90 from a previous close of Rs.89.85.
On the 10th of August, Aptech had?hit a 52-week high of Rs 97.25, extending its previous day’s 12% rally on NSE, after promoter, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, increased his holding in the IT firm via open market purchase. The stock witnessed a 2.24 times spurt in volume.
On Tuesday, 9th August, Aptech share price had hit a 52-week high of Rs.94.30 with 4.41 times spurt in volume. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala had bought an additional 7,00,000 shares representing 1.75% stake in the company at an average price of Rs.91.62 a piece, according to the NSE bulk deal data.
On 5th August, the scrip had hit its first 52-week high of this quarter and its volume had multiplied by 5.54 times. In the past one-week, the stock has rallied 38% from Rs.70.35 on 3rd August, as compared to 1.4% rise in the Nifty 50.
For the quarter ended June 30, 2016, Aptech reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 0.46 cr, down 83.80%, against Rs 2.84 cr in the corresponding quarter a year ago. However, consolidated net sales of the global education and training company headquartered in Mumbai jumped by 18.57% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 57.92 cr during the April-June 2016 quarter as compared to Rs.48.85 cr in the same quarter last year.
