Nifty Making New 52 Week High, GST Major Trigger












Indian Market Outlook:
A fresh week saw Nifty outperforming its global peers with a breakout above weekly high of 8605, Nifty made a high of 8645 and the momentum was aided by Bank Nifty which rose sharply by 300 points to close at 18980.Market players are keenly awaiting the passage of GST bill which will be one of the biggest tax reforms in a decade, the positive sentiment is expected to continue today despite international markets weakness. Nifty trend is a buy and any correction today of 50 to 60 points should be used as an buying opportunity.
The top 5 gainers are Bhel, Bank of Baroda, Maruti, State Bank of India and Asian paints.

Nifty Poised at 8560 Ahead of F&O Expiry - GST Big Trigger












Indian Market Outlook:
Nifty ended last week at 8556 with no major movement witnessed, the weekly range being 120 points. The action shifts to this week as futures and option expiry for month of July is on 28th and GST bill is to be tabled in Rajya Sabha this week. FII have been continuous buyers over last 10 trading sessions while at the same time DII have been sellers. Global events hold importance with FOMC on 27th night and Bank of Japan on 29th morning, which might bring in fresh volatility.
Axis bank declared its results which showed increase in NPA and highlights the NPA problem which has started affecting private banking stocks. The top 5 gainers are Tata Motors DVR, Tata Motors, PowerGrid, Infratel, TataMetalik.

Nifty Sees Correction, 8600 Acting As Resistance



Indian Market Outlook:
Nifty saw last hour of selling yesterday on the backdrop of weekly Bank Nifty expiry which pulled down banking stocks. The trigger being HDFC bank results, showing concerns about increase in NPA. ITC results came in after market hours and have also disappointed expectations. The stock could be down by 1 to 2% in today's trading as well. The overall range of Nifty in the last several trading sessions is 120 points which is very narrow. One can expect a range expansion in the coming days as the next week will mark the options expiry for the month of July. The support for Nifty is at 8485 and the resistance stands between 8590 - 8605.
The top 5 gainers for Thursday were ACC, ULTRACEMCO. AMBUJACEM, INDUSINDBK and ASIANPAINT.

Nifty is expected to open at 8525 as per SGX Nifty at 8:15 am IST, which is 6 points above its yesterday's close.

Nifty Consolidates Above 8550, ECB Credit Policy Eyed today

Indian Market Outlook: 
Indian benchmark Nifty saw a range bound but positive movement yesterday. Nifty closed at day high of 8589, a striking distance from previous week high of 8605. The day was marked with outperformance from mid cap and small cap stocks along with consolidation of IT stocks. European Central Bank is expected to announce its credit policy today after market hours at 5:15 pm IST. Hopes of continued stimulus in the light of Brexit has become a possibility which should take all global markets higher.
The top 5 gainers for Wednesday were AUROPHARMA, TATAPOWER, COALINDIA, BHEL and GAIL.
Nifty is expected to open at 8584 as per SGX Nifty at 8:15 am IST, which was its yesterday's close.

Strong Closing In Nifty, Might Retest Aug 15 High

Indian Market Outlook:
Nifty has witnessed sharp buying in the last 30 minutes of trade, yesterday after making a low of 8485, below its 5 days low. The up move holds significance as there was profit booking seen in the past few days. Markets are awaiting keenly with optimism and nervousness for the outcome of GST bill in Rajya Sabha. Wipro announced results yesterday after market hours which missed estimates for current quarter and have downgraded further earnings. Nifty is expected to be positive today on the back drop of strong buying by FII over the past few trading sessions immediate resistance being at 8605.
The top 5 gainers for Monday were BPCL, IDEA, ICICIBANK, POWERGRID and LUPIN.
Nifty is expected to open at 8568 as per SGX Nifty at 8:15 am IST, which is 15 points gap up from yesterday's close of 8511.

Nifty Witnesses Profit Booking as GST Delayed by a Week

Indian Market Outlook:
Nifty witnessed a second round of profit booking from 8605 levels which was its previous day high and fell to levels of 8510 giving a correction of 95 points. Similar correction was witnessed on Friday and this being second consecutive day of correction, it indicates 8605 area is turning out to be a strong zone of resistance for Nifty. However the uptrend in Nifty is intact as the cash market along with derivative data suggests buying at current levels with possible support of 8450 to 8470. Sentiments turned negative yesterday as there was a delay in tabling of the GST bill.
The top 5 gainers for Monday were Bajaj Auto, Kotak Bank, Sun Pharma, Infratel, Axis Bank.
Nifty is expected to open at 8538 as per SGX Nifty at 8:35, which is 27 points gap up from yesterday's close of 8511.

Nifty Eyes 8650, Markets Await GST, Monsoon Session of Parliament Begins

Indian Market Outlook: 
Nifty continued to trade in a range of 80 points on Friday after making a high of 8605 in the morning there was a correction of 80 points and Nifty made a low of 8525 suggesting some profit booking has come for the first time since the past five trading session. Today is a commencement of monsoon session of parliament and all eyes will be glued to Rajya Sabha on the tabling of the GST bill. Reliance result which came in after market hour beat market expectation.
The top 5 gainers for Friday were Tata steel, Bharti airtel, Idea, HDFC and HDFC Bank.
SGX Nifty, at 8:30 am IST, is opening 27 points gap up at 8581.

On 15th of July, FII & Pro have bought 795075 shares combined which is above the average of 705075.
